Eg4 draining batteries in broad daylight???

Is Battery com's setup?.. Doesn't look like it. Voltages in battery settings are much higher than my BMS controlled parameters..

EG4 3000 with AOLithium server rack batteries and communications(RS485)

If the 3KEHV is voltronic components and can support pylontech CAN,... does the 6500EX also?... or is LiA the only CAN protocol for that hardware?

Solar assistant: do you use it?

Nice. I wish I could see all the metrics per battery.. The Ruixu packs use LIB protocol for my setup and the Solar Assistant driver for that protocol is bare bones.. One value for voltage and current for the entire stack, no temps either.

    EG4 6000xp PV startup voltage?

Maybe I would have to run my 10 405W Longi's in a 10s configuration... would be about 400V 13A max... for one MPPT though. Early morning would be ~180V and typical mid-day would be 360V where I am..

    EG4 6000xp PV startup voltage?

Hmmm, this has me reconsidering the 6k Luxpower now... I have a variant of the Voltronic 6548 with the 250VOC capability. I only really have room for 2 strings of 5 405W Longi Panels and they seem to sit at 90-ish volts until the full sun comes through. This 100v limit makes me think the...

    RuiXU battery experiences

The SOC may deviate if you ever have a load of less than 0.5A per battery.. Any time less than that will not be recorded as consumption by the BMS. So if you left the inverter on idle for a week, without solar input, the batteries would die with 99% SOC indicated.

You could order from ca.aolithium.com and get them routed back to US via forwarder... just an option..

They also ship with 25mm2 (3 AWG) cable... You could always replace a few of the connections with generic lug-type parts..

They are made by Futronics, (http://futronicsconnector.com/list_14/81.html).. They seem to be selling them here: https://www.metabee.com/waterproof-energy-storage-connector-right-angle-125a-orange-25mm2-unshielded-cable-z-key-id20220600044.html

Just speculation, but maybe the current version of the app will only read and display those metrics if the pack and protocol is EG4.

    New EG4 Chargeverter V2

Almost ordered but really my system is hobbiest level and I only need 1500-2000W top up slowly in the winter so decided this was overkill (wont have a generator).. I just picked up a 1500W 60V power supply for $250 to top up when needed.

    New EG4 Chargeverter V2

Honestly,.. My use case is a "Chargeverter Lite" with only 1 of the power supplies to be 120V input only. Very basic settings for voltage and current and maybe a timer with the most economical display they can find.. Zero bells please..

EG4 3000 with AOLithium server rack batteries and communications(RS485)

Oh right, they stopped including cables. For best results you can use the longer cables for each pack and cut them to length if desired to connect to the master bus bar. But... the current demand of the 3000 is likely not to be an issue even if you went with the parallel cables. The AOLithium...

    AOLithium (48V) Buyer Feedback

Nope, until your link I didn't know they were available. I guess you could order some directly from Futronics for less but assume it would have to be an industrial bulk order.

EG4 3000 with AOLithium server rack batteries and communications(RS485)

Good to hear what you think of the AOLithium packs. You will have to play around with the dip switches to see if one of the protocols above will work. Also make sure the communication cable pin-outs are correct for the AIO port CAN com channels. AOLithium does include a network cable but it's a...

Solar assistant: do you use it?

If your battery runs LI-b protocol the current driver does not support pack temperature values and it does not support viewing data for each pack.. only the nominal average values of the stack. This goes for Ruixu for sure. SA support didn't respond when I highlighted this feature request.

    AOLithium (48V) Buyer Feedback

I think AOL just get them from Futronics Connectors, a Chinese company that seems to make cable and connectors for EV and energy storage. Just Google tonics connectors. The red one is Ruixu and not sure about that one. Will have to look up CNNT.

Aolithium and a bus bar setup

Ok so max current discharge would be about 25A per pack or 50A per dual stack if current sharing is optimized. I don't see any problem. A single stack would get close to max but still within spec. AOLithium does state the 4x parallel format is for up to 5kW systems. Keep an eye on current...

Aolithium and a bus bar setup

What is the output of the inverter? 6 kW? The 2 parallel stacks should be fine for the wires supplied. They can do 125A max and over 4 packs is around 32A each.

    RUiXU RX-LFP48100

I will try to take a screenshot next time I have the stack connected.. It's amazing how the SOC for each pack can vary... And it's definitely easier to stress about it when the packs have on-board displays..

There is a Ruixu Tools software that you can get from the technical support team if you want to review details. Its not available for open download. aolithium 48v vs. sok 48v rackmount

Hello Brock, There is certainly some upfront cost savings to be had with the AOLithium 16S "48V" packs. @edharveybc and @Kremer have them setup with varying real world experience although Ed has had some success integrating them into a schnieder system i believe. One thing to note is that for...

How to test MPP LV6548 - no panels, no batt

I didn't even see that. I got my info from the manual. Looks like it's correct there. Good to hear it's resolved but crappy the mixup happened.
