EDIT: Got the answer I needed in another thread. Thanks!
Hello.
Looking to pick up 6 ~400w panels this weekend in Houston. Seller has two options to consider that would allow for 2x3s for 1200w of input on the two inputs of Bluetti AC300. Both are bifacial. Similar specs with the VOC of the 3s well below the max of 150.
Would it be better to go over the wattage or under the wattage of the system max? If my input is going to frequently be 80% of the posted rating, would the 460w be a better option? I have read that going over the max wattage will not be a problem. And if that is true, then would I more reliably be able to get 400w from the 460w panel and get closer to the actual goal of 2400w?
Pricing
Boviet 370w for $210 or $1,260
SEG 460 for $260 or $1,560
Thanks for any feedback!!
