Best way to handle excess solar production

I've got my system tied into the house with a generator transfer switch that lets me select individual circuits to power, either by grid or solar/generator. So far I've just been casually monitoring system state of charge and adding or removing circuits as needed. It's a modest system, only spec'd to power limited use of the essentials during a grid outage, and so far standard(not limited) usage of several circuits has been enough to use all the power produced.

Yep my plan as well... So far only six circuits...and testing..

The key is large sand quantity. The extra sand is the main insulator. Every time I think about mine, it gets larger. lol

How big is it so far? I am curious about all this also.
