Issue with Solis inverter diverting power to grid.

I have an issue with my Solis Hybrid inverter as follows: (my system is 2 x 2.5 batteries and can generate 4kw max.). Instead of sending all power being generated to the batteries, and then sending surplus to the grid when the batteries reach 100%, my inverter is randomly sending about 50% of the power being generated to the grid. It is strange, because it doesn't do this consistently.....some of the time it all goes to the batteries, but some of the time it doesn't. Has anyone had a similar issue? And does anyone know how to fix the problem?

Welcome. Where are your batteries and could they be cold?

If < 10 degrees C the batteries will (correctly) limit charge. So on bright sunny but cold day like today in UK, surplus PV power would get exported.

If that's the case, fix is to add heaters or move batteries to warmer location.
