Uneven discharge from multiple battery packs.

I'm not sure what you mean here?
If you set inverter shutdown at 48v, that is about 3.0v per cell. It does keep its own circuits powered, but doesn't invert. It needs to watch for pv power. That takes some battery power. So the difference between your inverter shutdown and battery bms shutdown, provides that power. It also powers the rsd to allow the panels to work.

It also says 40Kg weight. Isn't that a little light for a 16 cell battery?
EG4 claims 45kg so about the same neighborhood?

Edit: Well, at least they're not lying about the weight. (I put one on the scale just now). Also, when I dumped all the modbus registers, there were definitely 16 cells reporting. Are the cells smaller, I don't know.
