Here is how it finally came together. I ended putting the PV combiner box inside rather than up on the roof, more convenient for troubleshooting.

I have 2-Growatt 3000 in parallel (6kw) connected to 560AH (2P16S) LiFePO4 battery built with Eve 280AH cells and Chargery BMS.

I found a IR temperature gun to be very helpful in testing connections. Push some amps through the battery and test temps at each connection point and connections with higher resistance show up in a hurry.

I was able to recover 48 of the 64 cells. I first charged them slowly at 5A until voltage came up from 0 to 3, then charged them fully at 30A to 3.65V. I did a capacity test then recharged. Capacity of the cells I tested was > 260AH . They are now back in service and working okay. Will be...

Note that the cases of the EVE cells are conductive and if the plastic coating is scratched you can get a current path between cells if you have conductive materials in contact with multiple cases. I found this out the hard way (short between cell cases resulting in overheating and a fire). So...

Alkaline was correct (sharp eyes!). The cells were manufactured in April after EVE started labeling non automotive cells with a B on QR code. This no doubt caused problems for resellers who had marketed these as non automotive A cells. Problems yield solutions, but not always the right ones ...

What setting are you using for setting 5, battery type. If you are using Use2 it locks charging voltage to 54.

Looks great. Highly recommend that you cover the threaded rods, the threads cut through the aluminum cases like a hot knife through butter. Pex pipe does a good job.

If you want to increase PV production/energy harvest you might try setting 5 to USE, 19 to 28.5 (3.55v/cell) and setting 20 to 27.5. I don't think this will prevent the Growatt from turning off at the end of the absorption charge but you will be pushing battery voltage higher and away from the...
