Do you have to mount you panels upside down?

Mine is simply for fun...always been fascinated by solar power and batteries and repurposing for some reason.

This controller works. It states right in the instructions, I used it that way to test my system, and there are videos on YouTube and posts on other forums showing it. If it didnt work, I would not have included it and then continue to state as such.

Provide some more information and see if everyone around here can figure out a system for you that would work! Need to do an energy audit and figure out exactly what your minimum needs are… To think that you can run ac for 24 hours a day is not likely possible but to think that you can have...

Are you looking for a low in the 18-19 v range instead of the usual 20-21? The only one that I am aware of is one someone around here managed to dig up made by Samlex that had a low of 19 if I recall correctly...can’t seem to find the thread at the moment...may have been in the the first draft...

I think if you compare you inverters high/low voltage specs, the one that matches up best is the Nissan. The Chrysler does match the specs. With the bmw, it looks like you would lose a fair bit on the low side Nissan BMW Chrysler

??? No experience but make that only number 2 that has a decent low voltage spec for most ev modules...in my opinion anyways! Samlex being the other.

So you’re saying that you get charged base on the inverter size and not the panels? That’s an interesting approach! You could have 1 panel up and a 10kW inverter and get charged more than having 100 panels up and a 1 kW inverter?
