I got twelve years out of my lead acid. Going to spend twice as much, 12 years later, on new lithium. 4k cycles would be about ten years, 8k about twenty. If I could get ones that are still very usable after ten years, that would be great.

I just saw an article the other day that said the solar panel market is flooded, manufacturers are sitting on more panels than ever, panels they can't seem to sell and prices are likely to keep dropping. Hope this is true.

This means don't discharge faster than 20% of my total battery bank AH, right? So, if I need to discharge faster, it's best to buy more batteries? and the cost of more would be offset by the total bank lasting longer?

Do manufacturers specify fully charging batteries cause degradation? I haven't seen that, though I think I heard it said for electric vehicle batteries. Is it best for longevity, to not charge up to 100%?

I'm assuming voltage increases gradually as the sun is shining closer to the panels...or isn't at as extreme of an angle, in other words, in the middle of the day......and isn't at max voltage on the panels the moment the sun hits them in...
