I figured out setting 4 is dependent on the under voltage alarm setting. Setting 4 wont go higher or equal to the voltage of the undervoltage. Just incase that was still unresolved
Its a gen 1. Its very common for it to overcharge. And the issues with it randomly changing hertz on its own occasionally also isnt user error but i appreciate ur valuable input
I have a powmr 10kw sunsmart. Working on upgrading to the solark. I spoke to powmr and they told me that in order to prevent the batteries from overcharging id have to turn off solar. Avoid powmr
And last question. How should i wire up the ats or should i even use one. Should it be generator to ats generator input pigtailed to ac in on the inverter (to charge batteries). Inverter ac out to utility on the ats and then panel to load on the ats? Im concerned that that might make the...
I have 3 cloudenergy 150ah 48v batteries in parallel and it seems which ever one i set as slave 2 drains abnormally. This morning i changed the dip switch so i have a master and 2 slave 1's. anyone have any idea if this wil work and or why ive been having this issue
Also when you look at the description on my dry contact it appears as though it should put off some voltage between 5 and or 6 and or 7 yet when i try to use my multimeter on it i dont get a reading
All the cells within each battery are within 0010mv and w bms or setting the settings will still lead to overcharging of batteries when used w solar. This Powmr has been a nightmare. Their tech support is awful. He continually told me to use the apl (or opposite cant remember rn) setting which...
So my 2 wire start just got here however ive ran into an issue. I have a 2016 or later version and it says to insert into j1-18 and j2-10 but both of those are full. On my 20 pin only 5, 8 and 13 are open and on my 16 pin only 2, 13 and 15 are open. Whats going on here (im dumb and looking at it...
Hows it going. Im off grid and dont have a desire to have to monitor the charge of my batteries which would be required to setup a load dump. Im wondering if there is a way to dump excess solar energy to a grounding rod instead of the grid once my batteries are topped off
First I went fast assuming the video could b paused. Now i know otherwise. Kinda weird. My bms is disabled right now. I believe it was on sla. I had a lot of issues getting the bms to even b recognized on my inverter. Ultimately i had to set my batteries in pylon and used CAN and UZE. The only...
Also do you know if each pv jnput can handle the 500v 22amps? I have 10 400w q cells in series about to add 10 more in parallel to that (would b more happy about that if it would stop over charging via solar but its kinda needed) the v and a at mpp would b 371.3v and 21.54. That setup would just...
Ill take a picture later on as im not home right now. I do have that software and it communicated fine. I dont believe its a bms or settings problem since even without the bms it would still overcharge even if i set the absorb and bulk at 55 it would still go past to 59.9
Have u had to put the extra loads on the new inverter? To me it just seems like a bad onboard mppt which just has no idea what to do with the excess power.
The ba
The batteries shut off and i get a battery over voltage alarm. I had the batteries connected via bms and they over charged. I had the settings w no bms set to the battery specs and they over charged
This post is to make this information i had to figure out on my own widely available.
I have a Generac 24kw with the Evo 2.0 controller. I wanted my inverter to control the auto start function via the 2 wire start stop and not use the ats. By doing so I was unable to charge the battery without...
Im having a multiple issues w my inverter. ill start w the issue of my inverter overcharging my batteries. it will fully charge the batteries then get the voltage over 60 i believe disconnect and cycle like that until i kill the solar. this only happens w solar. if i use my generator itll just...
due to the batteries being bmsed i cant alter most of the settings. with solar and gen together amps is set at 200. solar is set at 120. the rest of the settings are 57.6v i believe for the float absorbtion etc. i havent found a particular solar charging setting besides for the amps. on my...
