This actually isn't a bad idea. I'm planning on running 2 parallel 10kW AIO's, and had planned on combining it all with PDB's. But in some ways, using a very basic 200A panel to combine them might be a better (and perhaps cheaper) method.
Multiple people have tried to help you here, and you're in the process of running off some of the most knowledgeable Growatt members, simply because you're not sure of what you are talking about.
All of these inverters will hook directly up to your current grid power. Not to be rude, but if you...
The inverter you linked isn't a MIN TL-XH-US, it's a MIN TL-X. Different model, I know nothing about it. If you look at the install manual for a MIN TL-XH-US, you'll clearly see, that in a grid-tie only application, you do not need an auto transformer.
As I said before, V2 or V3 makes zero...
I get dropouts during very heavy thunderstorms (I assume mostly from signal attenuation because of the volume of water). Other than that, it's great. I've got the standard Gen 2 dish, with the included base, mounted on my roof. I bought a kit from amazon that included 4 magnet pucks to place on...
I would probably set the generator up to feed into a power distribution block, which then feeds into the inverters, like how a lot of the Solark installers roll with a generator install
Exactly. Thats why I was planning on maybe going a size higher that I absolutely have to. My biggest question is just simply AL vs CU, but I'm not sure it really makes much of a difference, as long as they're properly installed
My understanding is that they should be out somewhat soon, like in the next 2 months or so at most. I've got my permit pulled using this inverter, 2 of them paralleled, to be specific. I'll probably order them as soon as I see them available somewhere, but my DIY install is going to take some...
If you wanted battery backup, you could make it work with these Growatt inverters, still have your production meter, and back the whole house up. You could use the SYN-200 whole home backup, paired with the Growatt HV batteries.
If you're set on Growatt, they've got a new AIO style inverter coming out hopefully soon, that's basically a 10kw inverter, can handle being paralleled and whatnot. SPH 10000TL-HU-US.
The APA system is a great looking system, but they're not going to beat that Chiko U2V on price. It seems like Sinclair and APA are somewhat near each other in price, from what I've been able to find.
But I too would like to see a review of some of these lesser known ground mount systems.
I bought 2 complete pallets of these, and they arrived this week to my residence. Came quickly, undamaged. Working on unloading the pallets now, in order to store them for a few months until I build my project.
Because they're probably going to charge him for the kWh he produces in some way. Maybe not the value of the electricity, but maybe the transport and infrastructure cost of those kWh.
Interesting, and obviously V3 didn't have a backup output, because of how it was designed. Based on how they're showing the diagrams, I'm confident that it's more like V1 of the MIN's than V2.
Just poking around Alibaba tonight, and found a "seller" claiming to be selling these "SPH 10000TL-HU-US" for $768, plus shipping of course... Seems too good to be true, so it probably is. I wish we could at least get a price and ETA from Growatt on them.
I have zero experience with them, but Growatt US has a commercial inverter listed, that might do what you want.

Just be aware that there are a couple different versions of the MIN TL-XH-US inverters. A version that supports a backup critical loads panel (via an auto-transformer) and a version that is meant to be used with their SYN-200 whole home backup box. Not sure if either of those things matter to...
The more I look into this, the more I’m tempted to use this inverter. Just wish we could get some sort of actual expected availability date and price structure.
The Stion panels I've seen are STL-145, 145 watt panels, that they want $50/panel for. They're generally listed as "make offer" as well, but I get the feeling they're not willing to budge much on price.
What's your opinion on the APX versus the ARO? Or is the APX too new to have an opinion on so far? I can't seem to find it for sale anywhere right now.
