I was bummed out I had thought I had a blue tooth BMS, but alas this has no blue tooth... I now need a way to check the cells but hard to find a cell checker that is 10s.
The video has that information in the more section below the video when you view it on youtube. It has links for where to buy.
Myself I will view an hour video when it shows me a way to cut my AC bill in 1/2 he is running this setup on solar so he is off grid with this well worth my time.
I have my packages delivered to a neighbor's address about 1 block from me. They can't find my house, but they find that house every time. I go with what works.
I have bought a pump already for my setup that can deal with high heat. This will be built outside so I can design it as I want. I am thinking more to a design of a cob oven with either a TLUD or a rocket stove inside....
Have you looked into Nicrome wire?
I had an idea of taking...
At last! I finally got the right connector after 4 times of odering ( my error for not understanding the different types of JST connectors ) but my bluetooth BMS is only. I am glad I got this now I can check battery voltages without fighting with voltage meter.
Many of my problems just went away when I moved from a #4 cable to a #2 cable with power supply. but my BMS does not extend across batteries, each battery has it's own BMS
I ran into this document thought I would share it, I also have been looking at thermo storage, only I am now testing sand. But I also like to look at all projects to get another idea.
Well... I found out the BMS has voltage protection which is higher than my UPS.... sadly to get it to kick back on I have to unhook the BMS then Hook it back up. I have run the insta pot and now my fridge with this single battery, so I am very encouraged with what I see.
Yeah my concern was what if something in this mini split like the indoor controller has to have 110 V to run....... The input
Per the label on the unit the highest is 9 amps at 220V, so right in the neighbor hood of 2000 watts probably when I turn on the heat it would pull that much...
I installed 2 mini splits, 1) Serville, 9000, btu, 2) Mr Cool 12,000 BTU. They work awesome. I did buy the U shaped air in the video above, It uses at top 450 watts of power. for 10,000 btu. It is very quiet, and does not put out as far as the 9000 serville mini...
You did not miss it, the inverts above that I first posted put out 240 only, these are the ones I am considering buying, but I am not making a move until I know that it would work...... I think I will pull up my manual for my Senville Mini split and see if they say I can just hook 230 V in...
After doing tons of digging, I found this ->

A mini split that runs directly of solar DC. $1000, plus $150.00 shipping. that 35 SEER has me blown away if...
Well after about 2 weeks I now have all 3 batteries online so 16 KWH of storage ( of which I use maybe 14 KWH as I am only charging up to 4.0 V so that I can prolong the life of these packs. I have been dropping over 2700 Watts of power via solar to them, and they have been responding...
After 3 trips to Lowes I finally figured out the the nut size on the terminals is a M6 Metric, not 1/4 inch terminals as I first thought :-) one of those gotcha's....
Now I want to measure temps with my laser probe on my sand canisters...... Sand does not have the cnvective currents that water does. thus the heat should not move out the same way..... Sand is insulation when dry it does make me wonder I wanted to run an experiment with mason...
You will need a 36 V inverter, and a charge controller that will allow you to do custom charging to max voltages, my out back controllers allow for that. My charge controller is MPPT , I am not sure if 3 12 V solar panels would match what this system needs.
So what is your suggested container for all of this water? How are you going to insulate all of this water? I am interested at what you your thinking, and what the cost would be for this proposal.
For me and my needs is is working great. I would not run a table saw with my inverter, but it has been running my fridge and Insta pot about 1200 - 1400 watts, bread machine just fine.
I got it to work on one android.... I have Lineage OS on the other two, I had to switch from "gps" only to the top choice in location and everything now works !!!! At least now the CCP will know where to bomb ;-)
