At least he did not spell it Metre. Give him that much.
On the bright side with Metric we can take 10mm x 15mm x 1.2 = 300AH.
If the battery BMS is putting out 100AH max, seems about right for me. Could get away with smaller, but run with what you got.
They could start with using screws instead of short staples.
Did an install on a 1 month old Brinkley earlier this year. Suppose to be a higher end 5th. Had to spend about 3 or 4 hours cleaning up their cables.
We are talking about companies that will not spend the time to cut tie wraps to...
As mentioned one is fine. Only time we use at each battery is if the positive terminals are in a sketchy area (possibility of being shorted), in that case we use those marine type battery post fuses.
Could be what is confusing could not.
150ah might be a little close if the inverter has a...
Good catch and research. It is your call if needed. The problem I see without, is if you throw your "power selector switch" you have the potential to drain your starter battery even if the vehicle is running. I am speculating worse case that with a 90a compressor running alternator will not...
Strange that the limit it to 44". If it were 44.7 inches per panel, just 2.8" longer overall, it would include 98% of the panels made. Wonder if it was on purpose?
Most of the 156 cell panels should work. 495w or so, not quite 500 but close...
As mentioned, check the fridge vent. Most cases you can get below the floor and onto the frame easy and accommodates easy routing. If that works for ya, usually the easiest way.
Read up on battery isolators and their advantages here. They are made specifically for what you are trying to accomplish here.
Is this setup in the trailer or in the vehicle? You want the battery charger as close to the battery as possible.
But your 60ah breaker in front of the battery will...
Agree on the 370w panels. Is there a reason?
Quick look at the ground mount from EG4 it appears to me that you could put a 500W+ panel on them. Manual is pretty thorough, but lacking on panel racking sizing.
With 500w panels (cost difference is minimal these days), you could eliminate one...
Battery capacity should have no effect on the CC.
Does the battery have voltage (i.e. did it go into protect mode)?
Did it work, than gave up, or never worked?
Was the fuse bad?
More info needed and probably some work with a meter.
