What do you use for asphalt shingle roof penetration?

The roof penetration and all interior runs must be metal, not plastic to meet code, that why I and others use the higher dollar box with flashing for zero leaks and emt stub thru the roof.

    QO vs Homeline

Current install is homeline split panel bus with plug-on neutral ( my house ) which replace the zinsco that came with the home and the cost was half of QO from the box store. I have done extensive work with QO for commercial locations, great product and more compact but not on my dime.

    Central or string inverter 25MW

Just for informational purposes, Solis has single unit string inverters that go up to 350Kw a unit, very compact and have all the features for remote monitoring and control. You want to have a distributed architecture not a single point of failure and these large units are used in solar farms in...

    Solis RHI-S6-EH1P-K-H-US HV Hybrid Inverter

Solis is the third largest solar inverter manufacture in the world, and the S6 it isn't a copy of anything. For systems below ~20kWh of storage, even with the higher cost per kw of storage, it is lower cost than eg418k or Sol-Ark 15K as right off the bat the inverter is 5K lower cost and then...

Need electrician in Tampa Florida area for DIY solar permit.

Call and make an appointment with the permit reviewer, they work for you on your tax dollars, be polite and professional but NOT scared to question what they say. Your PE that stamped the plans should be able to help as well as they should know the Florida building codes.

This ^^^^ If you are the homeowner, you can do any permitted work in Florida, you just can't do this for others, that requires licensed contractors for specific trades. Do I need to do anything special to use individual inverters for individual circuits?

The wattage you have is for AC loads , but the energy comes from the DC batteries. Ohms law is Power = Volts * Amps, so one takes your wattage and divides by the battery voltage of 12 volts to get the 550 amps and that's not taking into account efficiency losses. Read up Here for more details
