I am building a battery bank of two, 24v, 100ah lifepo4 battery packs (a total of 16, 32.v, 100ah CALB...
I have an AIMS 60amp Solar Charge Controller (SCC60-100A). I am charging two, 24v LifePO4 batteries (I am assembling the two batteries using eight, CALB 3.2v, 100ah cells). Fresh new cells
Parameters on the AIMS Solar Charge Controller:
PV operating voltage - 15-155Vdc@12V, 15-155Vdc@24V

I currently have two (2) separate switches on my system.
Shore or Diesel Generator - simple arm/lever switch in bay next to the generator. It throws up for shore, middle OFF and down for Generator. It spends 99% of the time in the 'Shore' position as I rarely use my generator.
63amp, 650volt...
I'm currently updating my system and have the inverter/charger disconnected (all powered down). I will have to check to see if the Aims must be powered on to allow shore to pass thru. I suspect it does have to be switched on since it may not sense batteries otherwise (if off, it is all off).
