    House burned down

What class T fuses are people using? The Blue Sea Class T Fuses are rated for 125V. I'm not sure how that works with a 48V system, does the voltage not matter as long as it's higher and the amperage for the fuse is dialed in?

    House burned down

Does anyone have recommendations on Class T fuses and holders to use? I have two 48V 5kW batteries right now, but will eventually expand to six (30kW total). I'm assuming I want 300A Class T fuses? I'm using the mega fuses right now from victron which don't seem to be a good idea from what I've...

Safety check on my simple diagram please

Yes, I have the EG4 server rack, I only have two batteries in there to start since they are pricey, I plan to add more bit by bit until I get the full 6 (30kw). I haven't ran the battery cables yet, I'm waiting on my flexible conduit to get here for those, but it will be close, only a few feet...

Safety check on my simple diagram please

Gotcha, so instead of just linking the two inverters together with comms like usual, I just link them both to the solar assistant, and the solar assistant sits in the middle? Or do the units still link together with comms the usual way, in addition to a USB out going to the solar assistant from...

Safety check on my simple diagram please

My install is slowly coming along bit by bit. I was re-reading some posts and had a question on the Solar Assistant. Do you know if it works for split phase like I'm doing with two inverter, or only if the inverters are in parallel? If so, how would it connect between the two inverters? Here's...

What happens if the panel draws more than the inverter can output?

Thanks all, what's the best way to monitor the amperage that the panel is drawing, does the inverter screen(s) show this, or is there something I put inline that can show the current?

What happens if the panel draws more than the inverter can output?

Let's say you have a split phase setup of two inverters such as MPP LV6548. Together they output somewhere around 100-110 Amps. What if you had a 200A panel and the AC kicked on or something and you drew above that inverter output amperage. What would happen?

What conduit do I use from wireway to inverters?

@ricardocello Thanks, so for the wireway, can i just punch holes anywhere with my knockout punch? (doesn't need to necessarily line up with those pre-measured areas? Or how does that work, I've never used a wireway before but I'm trying to make this a clean build.

MPP Solar LV6548 - Suitable conduit option for the PV inputs - With Pics

Nice build, hoping I can get mine to look as clean! What are these things called that fasten the conduit to the inverter? How did you size them or do you remember the sizing for the LV6548? I need to run conduit from my wireway to my LV6548's

What conduit do I use from wireway to inverters?

I have two LV6548 inverters and a 6x6 wireway. I have a couple of beginner questions, I don't know much about conduit: Knockout hole sizes: The knockout holes on my wireway appear to be different sizes side by side. If the holes are different sizes, how do I address that? Conduit and...

Two different branded LV6548s, will they work together?

Thanks, hopefully someone else has ran into this same issue before. I was hoping it is just the firmware as well.

Two different branded LV6548s, will they work together?

I bought my first LV6548 a few months ago from watts247 and it was branded MPP solar, I bought my second one a few days ago from them again, but this time it was branded "Rich Solar". They look identical, but I just wanted to confirm they will work together? I'm going to run them linked together...

What should I use for a disconnect in between my battery bank and positive busbar?

Thank you. Something like this? https://www.grainger.com/product/22C189

What should I use for a disconnect in between my battery bank and positive busbar?

Alrighty thanks, i'll skip that then. When I run the 4 hots (2 from each inverter for split phase) to my transfer switch, Do they go to separate LINE lugs, or do stack each hot from the same inverter on the same lug? Example: Here's the actual transfer switch (with generator input which...

What should I use for a disconnect in between my battery bank and positive busbar?

I need 350A, 48V I believe. Six-5kw EG4 batteries. This is the only thing I've found so far but not sure if it's right. https://www.santansolar.com/product/dc-disconnect-on-off-switch-350a/ I have a 300A class T fuse there as well, but want some additional safety by being able to isolate the...
