  • Post in thread: Fuses and Breakers are doing my head in !!!

I personally don't like lots of under size breakers, connected as one. I have decided NOT to use a breaker but a suitable fuse instead. I see to many people using breakers as on off switches, I somehow trust a capable fuse more than I do a breaker. when a fuse goes, it simply goes, when a...

  • Post in thread: importance of earthing a rack battery and its cabinet ??

from the size of the m4 screw that in the front panel face, I was thinking it was more off a earth for static etc I was going to use a heavy earth from the cabinet to the earth spike. my battery manufacture makes no mention of using a earth, even though their equipment has one!!!
  • Post in thread: As Green a newbie as green could get !!

Hi Michaelk many thanks once again, I will need to read, and re read the information you have been kind enough to share with me. one thing that I was concerned about was over charging my Anker 767, and with the information you have given me (quote 18V. Being slightly over amperage is not as...

I am no expert, but your problem sounds like inverter settings, not battery
  • Post in thread: Help with the little things!

Here in the uk 95mm is not hard to purchase. Only I am NOT saying I am correct, but all my calculations had me at 75mm maximum. I am wondering where you read the Schnieder needed 120mm ??? I would rather one thicker cable as opposed to two or three thinner cable.
