Sol-Ark 15k dropping grid "sell back" only.

Hi Everyone,

Had major hail damage to my 32 panels and surprisingly they are still producing 12k (15k capacity). 1 panel even had a hole through it.

However I noticed that my inverter keeps dropping grid sellback and the PV is throttled down appropriately. After the 60 second grid connect wait time, it throttles back up to produce then drops it 20 seconds or so later..

I am wondering if the Hz or Voltage is messing things up on the sell back due to the panels being damaged. I have 480w Canadian Solar bifacial half cut panels. Wondering if the bypass diodes are working overtime. This seems to only happen after 10am when the panel are getting more direct light and PV is increased.

My solark is located in the garage so no damage to that or my meter. My smart meter does have an E00-12 and an F00-13 message. My energy company is looking into that.

It might be the ARC fault protection kicking in.

I currently have arc fault "unchecked". Should it be checked?

That's a great question. The Sol-Ark manual doesn't really explain the pros/cons of activating Arc Fault. Any experts out there? Unfortunately, if you DON't have it checked it's not the likely culprit of your problem :-(
