Hello
I am using a Schneider AGS with a XW Pro system. The AGS is connected to a diesel generator with a factory 2 wire auto start, this is wired using the type 14 wiring style as instructed in the AGS Manual.
I have programed the Gen warmup cycle to 300 seconds(5 minutes) on insight local.
The problem is I get no warmup cycle, the generator starts, immediately qualifies and starts charging.
The generator cool down cycle does work, it disconnects from power and let's the generator cool down for the programed cool down time.
Is Anyone else using this combination?

I talked to schneider tech support.
The tech told me that gen warmup does not work on a 2 wire auto start. He said that is for a different generator type, but he couldn't tell me which one.
The thing is the XW pro just needs to delay the AC2 power while the generator is in the set warmup time, it is simple programming that exists on many inverters. My 15 year old Magnum inverter works flawlessly

Pg 78 of the manual attached.

AC2 Reconnect Time Delay

If you have an InsightHome, there is a tab to select Advanced Settings.

AC2 reconnect is only for the delay of connection after power qualification, it does not set the time the generator cools down after power disconnection from the generator.
Ags cool down time is configurable through the SCP in the CFG gen menu.
Here is the ags manual
