You want abortion which is murder by moms and doctors. They will Stop heart beat….Hack the baby up … sell the bits and parts.

Hmmmm is a mom aborting with a doctor where they are killing a baby is okay?

Around 97% of all violent crimes are commited in democrat controlled cities. Same with drug use, homelessness, illegal migration, failing schools, mass theft, migrants controlling neighborhoods where they are yelling "death to America".

I still consume both main stream as well as "alt" but it seems that a day does not go by when something in the past few years that we are told by the "news" turns out to be pure BS.

John Robson holds a Ph.D. in American History, not climate change. While he's not wrong that climate change gets blame for everything even if it's not true (earthquakes cough cough). But, that doesn't make him qualified to talk about the climate.
The amount of sea ice in the arctic did make the news recently (I even posted on it) that there was more ice this year in the artic than expected, but it was due to unusually high amounts of moisture funneled into the arctic. That the amount of ice has varied historically is no surprise, and it's not proof in any way that climate change isn't real.
Unfortunately, his data is just wrong. I'm not a climate scientist either, but perhaps looking at the data from NOAA you can decide on if the the sea ice hit a 20 year high... (images are links).

The news seems to be getting even more alarmist and outrageous even to me. I can't tell if it's because things really are that bad, or if it is fear mongering and election related.
Sure, most people are depending on the government to save the day, but we know they're a decade late and a dollar short. The current policies are woefully inadequate to hold the line at 1.5C. This part isn't hyperbole, it's just the cold hard facts.
Lately the news has been about the Hot Models and Abrupt Global Warming that might occur as tipping points are passed. It's easy to see why. If we can't hold the line at 1.5C and tipping points start firing off it could be far worse than IPCC projections. Groups want more action by governments.
Much of the doom and gloom doesn't take into account really big game changers like Natural Hydrogen (assuming it's real) or other technology. In fact, I've seen articles saying we can't tech our way out because it will take too long. That might be true if we were starting today, but things have been underway for a very long time.
I'm an optimist, so I expect that we will see full electrification and it will vastly improve our way of life. I'm realist enough to know there will be a lot of cost, disruption, and suffering. Anyway, to make a long post shorter, I'm not going to bother posting any of the extreme negative news. I know it's there and I look at, but it's stuff you're bombarded with so no sense saying it here unless you want to talk about it. But, I will keep posting anything I find funny (e.g., posts on Florida legislative action) and of course on any news that is good, or takes me by surprise. Given that sort of news is less frequent, my posts might be less frequent. Just depends on what I see in the feeds.

Interesting take. What about the comments in the US Senate by the deputy commissioner of the department of energy though? He has no clue what a 50 trillion investment by tax payers in getting the US (alone) to carbon neutral by 2030 would even do for global temps.
