Connecting PV and Wind to the same battery

Greetings,

I'm in process of building a 8KW PV array that will be controlled by one EG4 6000XP, which will feed one 14.3KWh EG4 PowerPro WallMount battery.
I also have a great opportunity to install a small wind turbine ~500W that will be controlled by dedicated/simple charge controller.

Question: Can two separate charge controllers (PV + wind) be connected to the same battery? If the answer is yes, where can I find more resources so I can ensure everything is done safely.

The goal is to create a hybrid system, that utilizes PV and wind.

Many thanks

Take a look at the new sub forum here, wind and hydro diy.

You can feed whatever into the batteries, they don't k ow or care where the watts came from. Usually. Not sure how the powerpro battery talks to the EG, that may be exclusive...

Just as long as you don't exceed the max charge current for you battery when you have both systems working at max the battery will not care. Same on voltage, program the wind charge controller to match the EG4 settings or maybe something more conservative, and it will work great.
