Can Solar & Wind Fix Everything (e.g., Climate Change) with a battery break-through?

Example A: Trump Russia Collusion. Shiff for brains lied his ass off on every media channel, including Fox. He was the head of Intel for the legislative branch at that time. He should be hung.

Example B: Hunters Laptop, now confirmed by the FBI as his. Again, every left outlet called it a russian hoax

Example C: Biden payments from our enemies, pay for play, collusion, corruption, and false statements. Now proven by actual bank records and the CEO of their scam LLC. Dems are STILL denying this against an avalanch of evidence.

Then we have all the Jan 6 bullshit, 2020 election coup, Dominion "algorithms", 2000 mules, Twitter files, big tech collusion with CIA and FBI, spying on citizens without warrants, weaponized FBI, Sanctuary cities not enforcing federal laws, federal government giving away tuition money against the law, open borders, "mostly peaceful" murder of police officers in 2020 in Dallas, portland riots, NYC Riots, burning of churches and tearing down statues at the capital, attempted execution of Rand Paul in 2020 while leaving the capital, attempted murder of supreme court justices after Roe V Wade overturned, Trumps severed head on display by TV host, Johnny Depp and Madonna calling for execution of Trump during DC speeches.....
I could go on forever with all the leftist corruption and hate, and the one sided media. Did you know that EVERY reporter and manager at taxpayer funded NPR are either democrats, or Democrat socialists of america? Not ONE conservative opinion or viewpoint.

I say we fire EVERY reporter and manage and replace them with MAGA folks. You would be fine with that right? If 99% of all media and government beaurocrats were conservative, you would think that was fair? It would be totally diverse though, with black and gay and transvestite conservatives too!

If they had empathy and followed the golden rule, they wouldn't be libtards.

All the people I know that talk about killing people are Trump loving republicans.
I don’t hear that from anyone else.
You need to understand how it feels to have your life threatened frequently.
We could have everything else in common, but the gap between peaceful people and homicidal maniacs is massive.

This gives me the hardest wood. I absolutely love that you are scared and feel threatened. (Truth be told, I think you are lying about this, however I hope you're not).

I hope you are afraid to leave your apartment the same way a normal person is scared to leave their house when a a single mother on section 8 with a couple 18 year old tattooed thugs and a few untrained pit bulls feels living next door feels when he had to go out and try and mow the lawn.

How funny is that? 🤣🤣

The news seems to be getting even more alarmist and outrageous even to me. I can't tell if it's because things really are that bad, or if it is fear mongering and election related.

Sure, most people are depending on the government to save the day, but we know they're a decade late and a dollar short. The current policies are woefully inadequate to hold the line at 1.5C. This part isn't hyperbole, it's just the cold hard facts.

CAT_2023-12_Graph_2100WarmingProjections.width-1110.png

Lately the news has been about the Hot Models and Abrupt Global Warming that might occur as tipping points are passed. It's easy to see why. If we can't hold the line at 1.5C and tipping points start firing off it could be far worse than IPCC projections. Groups want more action by governments.

Much of the doom and gloom doesn't take into account really big game changers like Natural Hydrogen (assuming it's real) or other technology. In fact, I've seen articles saying we can't tech our way out because it will take too long. That might be true if we were starting today, but things have been underway for a very long time.

I'm an optimist, so I expect that we will see full electrification and it will vastly improve our way of life. I'm realist enough to know there will be a lot of cost, disruption, and suffering. Anyway, to make a long post shorter, I'm not going to bother posting any of the extreme negative news. I know it's there and I look at, but it's stuff you're bombarded with so no sense saying it here unless you want to talk about it. But, I will keep posting anything I find funny (e.g., posts on Florida legislative action) and of course on any news that is good, or takes me by surprise. Given that sort of news is less frequent, my posts might be less frequent. Just depends on what I see in the feeds.

Impact of climate based regulations in California

Impact of climate based regulations in California
Oh no! The Gasoline companies will pull out of states like insurance companies are!
Better make the next car purchase an EV ! ; -)

I don't have much sympathy for them. They knew long before anyone that burning fossil fuels would lead to global warming. They've had over 70 years to plan and strategize for how to survive as a company in the upcoming era. If they fail to adapt and go under, well life's not fair. It's certainly not fair to those that didn't create the problem and will suffer the most.

This is about "particulate emissions", but wait till they go after them to fix their leaky gas pipes! When he says "pull out" and what will CA do for jet fuel, well that's just throwing FUD out to see what will stick. Shutting down a refinery in CA does not mean pulling out of CA completely. It just means jet fuel is more expensive as it is refined elsewhere and shipped in.

Climate change is happening. So, it's not an impact of climate based regulations, it's an impact of the reality of the situation. People talk like there's a choice, like we can just willfully ignore it and it will go away. It won't, so we can't. We need to adapt and overcome.

Let trudge out that same tired graphic that shows how woefully crappy our response to the crisis actually is:

Yeah, we're already in lala land thinking we can continue as is. Stuff has to change, and quite rapidly.

Fortunately, change is in the air... literally in this case!

Let's look at AirBus since he made a big deal about no jet fuel. AirBus has been working on electrifying air transport since 2010. In 2017 they had the E-Fan X (right). They also working with hydrogen:

On April 18th last year Alice, Boeing's electric commuter plane, had it's inaugural flight:

So yeah, hydrogen and electric planes are real thing... expect to see more of them. NASA has also been pumping out all sorts of innovative tech and new battery tech specifically for aviation.

Why is your car a plug-in hybrid?

When using gasoline, the end user who burns it in their car is the polluter, not the company that made it.

Your post above demonstrates perfectly the lack empathy and self-awareness that all global warming believer and electric car dorks share.

How many batteries does it take to power an Abrams tank? In the middle of a battle, where do you go to charge it, and what do you do while you wait?

Whats the cost of replacing every ship, plane, car, truck, excavator, tractor, generator engine to electric? What is going to replace paved roads and tires? Who will pay for that?

After an EMP, where the grid is fried, whats your plan?

What will replace every roof in every home in every country? You gunna foot that bill?

Get your head out of your ass and think logically.

Oh, and Please let me know when you figure out COST EFFECTIVE replacement for these petroleum based products, and the jobs of all the people who make them:

And start doing without them ALL, or STFU.

Same problems when the diesel runs out, ask Rommel. But if we make them nuclear, well vroom vroom ;- )

Whats the cost of replacing every ship, plane, car, truck, excavator, tractor, generator engine to electric?
Over the next 30 years, considering they wear out and needed to be replaced anyway... probably less expensive than their ICE equivalents and they'll be cheaper to run.

What is going to replace paved roads and tires? Who will pay for that?
We don't burn roads or tires where I live, why would we need to? As to who will pay, same as always. Why would it be different?

After an EMP, where the grid is fried, whats your plan?
You think after an EMP your computer controlled car is going to run, water will come out of the tap? That's just too funny. I live on an island and can get water from the air and food from the sea. What's your plan?

What will replace every roof in every home in every country? You gunna foot that bill?
Personally I like reflective membranes. It's what I have on my house, keeps it cooler, costs less, and I got a rebate. Pay for your own damn roof!
But there's not need to stop making shingles since WE DON"T BURN THEM AS FUEL.

Get your head out of your ass and think logically.
Back at you considering how poorly thought out your argument is.

Oh, and Please let me know when you figure out COST EFFECTIVE replacement for these petroleum based products, and the jobs of all the people who make them:
You don't need to replace petroleum based products. Why would you want to?
It's only about not burning those products as fuels. That's what has to go.

Well, its seems you still dont get it. We dont burn roads and tires for fuel, we use fuel to MAKE roads and tires.

Still waiting for your replacement of those PRODUCTS and JOBS....

Well, its seems you still dont get it.
I get it, but you need to take the blinders off my friend.

For example, that billion poor Chevron would pay? They don't pay for that... they pass the cost on to customers. It costs them nothing. Threats to leave in a huff? Power to them.

Those products and jobs. Still there because if there's a need for them someone will make them. Maybe more jobs as in a free market changes make opportunities.

Shoe lace tips don't have to be from oil. They can make it out of algae, or like PLA out of sugar. Same for the rest of those items. Can they keep making it out of oil? Sure, why not? It's only oil burned making GHGs that need to stop.

Do we absolutely need to burn fossil fuels to generate heat to create all those products (e.g., run distillation columns)? Of course not.

Do we need to change how we do things? Only if we want to try and keep the temperature from rising more than it already has.

Try Yanabah Navajo Tea. Great folks, and awesome tea. It helps Arthritis, and it's said to reduce cancer tumors too! Amazing stuff, and ONLY natively found in the four corners area in the US.

I was selling it in the northeast US before I moved south.

It seems the most pressing issue and most threatening to our culture and way of life is that those who have been indoctrinated, fear that climate change is now the cause of every issue facing humanity.

Got a D on a test? Climate Change
Girlfriend left you? Climate Change
Its raining? Climate Change
Its not raining? Climate Change
Its hot? Climate Change
Its cold? Climate Change

Notice the evolution of the terms used to control the idiots too... spread fear, take money, gain control.

In the end, there is no goal. Co2 is the boogey man now, next it will be Oxygen, or helium, or radon, or whatever they decide to use to control your sorry ass. Now get in the train car!

Do you watch Fox News?

To speed this up, I'll answer for you ..... NO

So, If you don't watch Fox News, what you think about Fox News is what is being spoon fed to you by their competitors.
The only way for you to know if Fox News is good or bad is to watch them on a regular basis and decide for yourself.

How many of your other opinions are formed that way?
I listen to Fox every day.
I don’t need you to repeat their lies.
