Hi everyone, I’m new. I’ve posted a couple questions to the board and I’m getting closer to understanding. I live in Maui Hawaii and I’m getting a RV trailer and I’m gonna do Solar but I’m looking for the best recommendation for an all in one inverter. It needs to be a split phase in one unit and at least 5000 W now there’s a EG4 6000 XP. That has been recommended. I’m also trying to be able to purchase it on Amazon as shipping out Here is crazy when it comes to price. I’m thinking about putting four 400 W panels and using a 48 V hundred amp battery, thank you in advance.

You can find several different split phase solar inverters on Amazon. https://www.google.com/search?q=spl...EgExIECIBgGQBgiSBwEzoAcA&sclient=gws-wiz-serp

Your largest load I believe you mentioned was the 15,000 btu rooftop Aircon. And the one load you deem critical to power was a standard refrigerator of ~2kWh per day. 1600w of panels will limit just how much loads you can reasonably power. The 15,000 btu Aircon likely would not be able to run for very long if you wanted to preserve some power for keeping the refrigerator operational. Load management will be essential.

Shipping to the island is going to be expensive no matter which way you go. With the low standby draw of the 6000xp, if you have enough panels in series to hit the voltage requirements it's pretty much the best option.
