I'm in the return process of returning my 6500ex inverters and I'm planning to install 2 6000xp inverters. Is there a reason you couldn't remove the terminal blocks and add DC breakers for the solar input? I had a separate breaker box that had all the AC and DC breakers for the 6500's but the 6000xp has them included with the exception of the PV input. Possibly trim the plastic? Would the door still close and clear the CB's? trying to simplify the install as much as possible. I already have DC disconnects for the panels themselves before it gets to this point.

I would recommend not removing the terminal blocks.
