I had to check AFTER I sent them which photos were sent! They all look alike to me. Whatever.

And, in my opinion, both of my pictures are not as crisp as I would like.
It is best to use a BRIGHT light the get as much detail as possible into the image.

Yup... as simple as modern camera phones are to use, they have big limitations.
Lighting and field of focus are big ones.

The last phone I had like this took really good pics! I definitely will see if the settings need adjusting.

If it is indeed just epoxy residue then you should be able to remove it with a scotchbrite pad. Have you tried this??
Oh, we can see a discoloration, but the focus is so bad it could be a shadow, ink, corrosion, or anything else.
A sharp photo not zoomed in needs to be taken in bright light.

UPDATE: I just received a call from Battle Born Batteries. Jesse says he will be sending me out a new battery and I will return the other one.
