In Cochise County, if I do a DIY solar power system installation, can I have a licensed installer inspect and sign it off, or does the licensed installer have to literally do the work?

Welcome to the forum.

This is a very bad place to ask about compliance. Few really know, and fewer still would know your specific authority having jurisdiction (AHJ).

Assuming there isn't another Cochise county, I'd start here:

Very good, thanks. I started with my most pressing question, but this forum looks great for answers to many. I'll spend some time reading up on the forum to get answers before I ask more.

About myself: I'm building off-grid in Cochise Co.. Currently I've built a 550 ft^2 garage which will be a battery house for the future residence of 1310 ft^2.

I've purchased a Growatt 48V SPF 3000TL LVM inverter/controller, two Renogy 48V 50Ah Smart Lithium Iron Phosphate Batteries, and 12 250W PV panels (used) from San Tan Solar. Right now I'm researching the balance of system and code compliance.
