Planning on doing a small off grid project since the new eg4 battery is what I’ve been looking for. The battery and inverter will be in an insulated but unseated building. I realize that if the temp is below the spec of -4 Fahrenheit, I won’t be able to draw power, but what happens if I’d the battery goes below -4. Will the battery be damaged. Will the onboard heaters keep the battery above the threshold. I guess this would be more of a hybrid setup. Solar and battery if available, grid if no battery. So baring a grid outage I would always have power for the heaters in the battery to work.

You can generally use batteries below 32*F but if you charge below 32*F you kill batteries.
I am unaware if eg4 has built in heaters or proper low temp shutoff
