I was super impressed when I saw the video where the folks at EG4 lit the EG4-LL on fire and triggered the suppressors. I'm curious as to what exactly is in the fire suppression modules and how these things work. Aside from the video, I can't find anything at all about these things - not even in the manual.

EG4 team, if you read this, please include detailed info on the fire suppressors in your next manual revision.

Those are pretty cool! Might have to look into some of them.

From the video, the ones in the EG4-LL look to me like a small maybe 3 inch metal square. Even if those tubes are part of it, I can't imagine a significant amount of ABC chemical and expellant would fit. I'm thinking it must be gaseous - maybe halon? Whatever it is, it was effective in the video.

*EDIT - just noticed the "ABC chem" in the Blazecut product is HFC gas, not typical dry-chem. Probably the same in the Eg4 battery. Can anyone confirm?
