Endorsement. Litime is posting that you have endorsed their 230ah 12v battery. Is this true?

Yeah I've been saying that for a while now. Seems pretty fair

    MC4 connectors a massive scandal

I've had many mc4's fail and melt. But then again I'm always mixing various mc4 connectors on various products. You never know what you're going to get

    MC4 connectors a massive scandal

From array to scc pv input, I use non insulated butt splice connector sized properly, then cover the whole joint with marine grade heat shrink. Please don't use spade connectors 😬

The definitive guide to off grid & hybrid inverters?

Oh goodness. Very hard to keep up with. We get new models every couple months it seems. Then they will come out with new firmware which usually improves the product, but sometimes makes it worse. These brands are not very consistent either. Sometimes a single product on their line will be a...

    Purchasing with Bitcoin?

I'm almost all Bitcoin currently. Only using cash for bills, food and taxes. I don't need much either.

    psa: Chargeverter is LOUD

Yeah what more is needed to know about a battery charger? Would be curious to see what they think is missing from that manual.

    psa: Chargeverter is LOUD

Measure the DC ripple on output at HVD and it will spike really high. It will fry the BMS fets. Mine fried on the first day. Not worth the risk.

    psa: Chargeverter is LOUD

Yes, that's the one. Dumped it in the trash after that incident. Don't charge lifepo4 with it.

    Lead acid scares me now

It's a Toyota sienna so it's in the trunk, on the side. Similar to the Prius.

    Lead acid scares me now

After a few years of not having to charge one of these, I'm terrified of blowing the caps off the top 😂 no high voltage disconnect, no low voltage disconnect. Valve regulated so if any boiling occurs, huge mess of acid all over the vehicle. I'm actually scared to walk near it when it's...

    207kWh System... In 12V??? 😬

The reason it is very significant is that you're going to balancing issues over time. Also instead of one BMS failling you now have four. Instead of one LVD and HVD, you now have 4 in series. If cell drift occurs at all, one of the batteries will disconnect and render that entire string...

IntegraRack: Ground Mount with Epoxy Ground Stakes and Ballast Options

No clue. Ask them what their regulations and let us know what they require. Every county and state has different rules.

IntegraRack: Ground Mount with Epoxy Ground Stakes and Ballast Options

I've been googling like crazy to find other ground mount solar array options for diy systems, and the selection is abysmal. I knew that going in, but I am amazed more companies are not jumping at this market. I saw a lot of plastic bin ones at the solar conference, but that's about it. And it...

IntegraRack: Ground Mount with Epoxy Ground Stakes and Ballast Options

Very nice! And simple. I wish someone had these corner brackets with different angles so we could have a 30 degree wooden solar mount! How cool would that be. Would take minutes to throw that together.

    207kWh System... In 12V??? 😬

Yeah, I believe this is just a purely marketing video. I cannot see how anyone would ever choose this configuration for a large scale system at this voltage. So many better options available today. I wonder how many "game changers" have been sold this month. I just cannot see them selling many...

IntegraRack: Ground Mount with Epoxy Ground Stakes and Ballast Options

How much was the total project cost? How much was the concrete? Yeah, it's a lot of work for the brightmount. Anyone with experience setting that thing up understands haha

IntegraRack: Ground Mount with Epoxy Ground Stakes and Ballast Options

Darn, I wish you could post actual alternative solutions here to help the community. It has to look a lot less "ghetto" than the IntegraRack as you claimed, so I would love for you to substantiate that claim with evidence. Or else your post does not really help anyone.

IntegraRack: Ground Mount with Epoxy Ground Stakes and Ballast Options

It has a wind rating of 150mph. The clamps are not UL, but they plan to be soon.

IntegraRack: Ground Mount with Epoxy Ground Stakes and Ballast Options

So going by current comments, people really just want the cheapest possible rack. Is there anything else you guys care about? And clearance for snow and weedwhacker

IntegraRack: Ground Mount with Epoxy Ground Stakes and Ballast Options

No, still waiting on permits for my lab. It's delayed by seven months now I think. Nightmare working on this project with the city. Constant revisions and back and forth. Once my lab is in, I'm going to rip all these panels up and mount them elsewhere

IntegraRack: Ground Mount with Epoxy Ground Stakes and Ballast Options

I loved putting this together. Was not tired at all after doing four panels. These epoxy ground stakes... Is anyone else doing this? I can't believe how strong they are. And the water ballast is a new idea... If it doesn't leak. I guess they are cheap so you can put a few for added...

I am assuming that but not getting my hopes up.

Any news on THE ONE? Is it the one for me?

It seems promising, but I really wonder how good the firmware will be. It is still a new product, so we need to be careful. Midnite usually produces some good stuff, but we have all been let down many times before.
