Mine are still sat in their boxes... I checked the voltage on a few.. waiting for a clamp meter before I think about top balancing.. prob will wait till I get an IR meter as well... so a few things to think about .. I think they will be ok till I get my act together.. must admit I’m a little...

How do you rate the cells..?

The stuff that people use on stove pipes should be fine.. I’ve used heat resistant sealant that is applied with a sealant gun.. it doesn’t seem to smell much either when first applied.. may need to be gentle with the heat at first though...

My point being that you need to go through the thing checking its weak points...until it works properly...something that should have been done before it left the factory..

Just as a side note... I bought a Chinese quad flail mower ... petrol engine powered... and it was shite... it just didn’t want to do what I expected it should do... however.. After a few modifications of my own .. it worked much better.. So I think with some stuff made in China.. be prepared to...

True... however the compression is coming from the cells... not from the cells enclosure as of when it was built...

Lol... cmon.. we can’t rely on dictionary... we can do better than some old musty book... we should at least have a glossary of descriptive terms for the forum... fixation means zilch unless it can be expanded further to suit the context.

Fixation doesn’t really describe in detail what it actually is... same as compression... neither of them are descriptive enough ... hence my more accurate term... fixed rigidly in situ... although I’m sure there is a much better term.. or maybe the forum members could come up with something ...
