I have a rack of Jakiper batteries, the manual is a little unclear how to set this up. When plugged into RS485A, I get "no response". With RS485B I get "invalid data". According to the SA battery config page, I should be using "Jakiper RS485 port" Any ideas based on this photo?

Is your battery connected to Solar Assistant logger AND to your inverter? I just tried that, but it didn't work (connection failed). I am now reading that it may not be possible. Is anyone aware of a workaround?

The dashboard values are updated every 1-2 seconds, so SA is definitely receiving this data. This includes AC load, battery load, PV, and SOC. The charts for these values only offer data points every 10 seconds. No mystery here!

What sort of power was required in your experiment? Lets say 1 500w panel takes 5kwh to melt snowfall over a 5 hour period. That loss would be recovered with 10 hours of sun (realistically 20 hours factoring in tilt, exposure, etc). If the snow was not melted, that panel could stop producing...

I would be happy with 5%! I'm getting up to 200% difference on top/bottom compared to the others. I've seen SOC differences of >20% in 1 day.

Over the last hour or 2 the top/bottom batteries now have the highest current in the rack. Does the BMS have control over how much each battery will charge / discharge based on the load? Or is it all up to physics? Any guess why the top and bottom seem to always have a very similar current...
