AIMS Power REMOTELF Remote Backlight question

Hi all, I have one of these AIMS LCD remote displays. (REMOTELF)
There's a button to the left of the display, turns the display off to save power.. But, How to i change it back to where the display stays on ?
I've tried pressing it for a second, 2 seconds, double tapping..etc, I can't find any info on it.. Not even in the manual.
Does anyone know ?

It should be a single press on/off.

They can be finicky, try unplugging it /power cycle. Otherwise im sure they will send you a replacement. I have had great support from Aims.
