I need to understand how to attach the BTS to my battery. In another forum, it was mentioned that the sensor can be embedded in silicone on the battery.
However, in my case, I have eight (8), 3.2v, 100ah lifepo4 cells set up in Series for a 24v battery bank.
Do I just tape the sensor to the side of one of the batteries? I assume GOOD tape needed.
I could lay one of the cells on its side, put a puddle of silicone on it about mid-way down and stick the BTS probe into it. It would seem less likely of peeling off with age (unlike tape).
Suggestions and solutions appreciated!
