Any AIO's work with non inverter type generator?

Sorry if covered many times before, but I did not find a definitive answer in a search.

Is there any AIO's that work flawlessly with non inverter type generators?

My old Trace Inverter/ Charger will take any generator I throw at it, I have used up to 4 different generators (3-non inverter, 1- inverter type)

This could be useful information for those off grid.

I just purchased a SRNE clone AIO and it will not accept even a 1hz fluctuation in frequency, but works with an inverter type gennie.

Just a thought but what is your #3 setting at? If it is UPS you might want to try APL when running from generator.

Great idea, but kinda defeats the small foot print of the AIO. I will probably get a larger inverter type generator before a chargeverter.

Nice machine, but over ten times the price I paid. Not expecting miracles for the price I paid, just would have liked to know this upfront if it is common with AIO's.

Some are better than others.
The loads also contribute to it.

Our loads are very light, usually about 1000 watt hrs from dusk till dawn. Largest load that cycles is well pump (Grundfos SQ series) and microwave.
Other than that, lights and TV, all large loads on propane.
It seems like the one I have is very fussy about line frequency, was wondering if there are others more forgiving?
