Can solar activity boost PV production?

Two days ago, they announced a coming solar event, which happened yesterday.

Naturally, I wondered if it would boost solar production. Yesterday turned out to be my best PV production day so far in July. ?

A sample of one is not exactly a scientific correlation. Yet, it does make you wonder all the more how solar activity impacts real world solar production.

Anyone else get a boost in production yesterday (July 18th)?

Can easily be explained from less particulate matter in the atmosphere which almost all of the USA has been suffering from. What part of the USA are you in?

The downside of solar flares is they may disrupt the grid and electronics in general.
There is a long thread on here with people looking to "harden" their systems against such events.
