Chiko USA Carport/Pergola

Just curious but I am looking at the Chiko USA Steel Carport/Pergola and I was curious if anyone had purchased one and what their thoughts were on it. Their 4 car size is perfect for a pergola on the backside of my house and seems to be a great fit if I can seal up the solar panels well enough to keep the rain off of me.

Which is exactly what i am planning to DIY this summer. Now i know the price to beat.. $8600. If i come in under that i'll be good. Honestly, since i already have more than half the material im hoping to come in way under $2000..

They do make rubber gaskets to seal between solar panels but i dont have experience with a certain brand or vendor, so here's just some examples.
