Circuit breaker question

I am placing a 60 amp breaker between my solar charge controller and my battery bank. The terminals are marked “Batt” and “Load”, easy enough...but then I started to wonder if I should reverse this due to the current and connect the “Batt” side towards the charge Controller since that’s where the current would be coming from, or does it really matter?

The circuit breaker should really be labelled 'Source' and 'Load' so the electron flow is the correct direction. In your case you want to panels as the 'source', and the charge controller/battery becomes the 'load'.
