Hi All.
I'm new arround here and are building my own setup.

I have a deye 8KVA hybrid inverter comming.
I have a 20KWh battery ready to go. I'm hoping to run in zero export but be able to export when I have surplus

I'm starting with an ELV string (<120VDC) epever MPPT as the Deye doesn't support low enough string Voltage on its MPPT inputs and our laws
only let me do <120V DC Without getting sparky involved which is easier for me to grow panels over time.

I will leave the deye MPPT inputs unused For now.

Will I be able to make the deye export power if my battery SOC is high or does it require its own MPPT to provide excess power before enabling export?
It will have no idea about the epever MPPT providing power other than battery SOC going up.

I'm setting up some monitoring so will have modbus access to the inverter.

Thanks
Ricky
