Hi- I’m not really a diy solar person but very enthusiastic about solar, batteries and wind. I’m 10 months since commission and my stats are as follows rounded up or down by around 5%

Imported 5000

Consumed 6000

Generated 2000

Export 300

What I don’t understand is if I have imported 5000 , generated 2000 (= 7000) why, if I take away the consumed 6000 plus the export 300 -there’s 700 unaccounted for. Any ideas.?

The actual figures are

Export 307.8

Generation 2036

Consumption 5964

Import 4962

Most likely you’re just not getting an accurate measure of all the loads. Below is what I think is the most likely scenario:

I'm guessing these numbers are all coming from an inverter (or whatever device is managing everything if you have microinverters), or some monitoring device that's taking data from that system?
If the numbers are all in kWh, then you're missing 700 kWh over 10 months, that's about 100 W constant load... I've seen cases where inverters don't account for their own power draw. 100W would be on the high end, but not out of the question. So it could just be that whatever is reporting these numbers to you is also using power and not telling you.
Or there could be other loads that are bypassing the measurement software for whatever other reason.
