I'm looking for a new/good-used 5 KW SMA SB5.0-1-1SP-US Sunny Boy inverter (either -40 or -41 version). If anyone has one, or knows where I can get one, please let me know.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've been watching EBay but all I've seen recently are the "-10" (storage version), of the inverter.

An expansion for an existing system with the same inverter.
Is there a specific operational reason why the second inverter must be identical to the existing one? Trying to learn

Mostly convenience. I have existing local SMA-protocol monitoring that I would like to piggyback on, I need at least 5 KW, and I have conduit in place for connecting a matching inverter.
