Off-grid planning stage.
Would like to supply ac in power to a 120v single phase inverter from a generator 240V L14-30R outlet by using 1 leg of the outlet to the inverter for small loads, and the other leg to also supply 120V via a TT-30R to a chargeverter fitted with a TT-30P. Any issues to be aware of before I waste time adding this to the plan?

Should work, load(s) just can't put more than 50% of the generator rated Watts on either leg. Realistically any standby rated generator should be limited to 40% of rated output per leg.

Rating of CV is reduced with 120v. I would put all power from gen through the cv, and let the inverter provide clean power to load.
So, are you saying I can charge the batteries with the chargeverter via generator and supply a load from the batteries at the same time? That would really simplify thing if possible.
