Good day everyone. I realize this issue has been discussed before but I am having difficulty get answers from Signature Solar and Growatt USA with regard the above issue. I have three of these inverters with different firmware revisions. Only one which I recently purchased from SS has this issue. I contacted SS support and after providing the nameplate details and firmware revision they confirmed there is a firmware upgrade that would resolve this problem. They then told me to contact Growatt USA directly which I did and they said they do not recommend updating the firmware and to live with the noise. I find this answer totally unacceptable as this is a known issue and my other two units do not exhibit this problem.
So I am stuck having zero support from SS and the manufacturer.
My concern is I am having considerable difficulty installing the Silicon Labs CP210x driver required to performance this task plus the correct firmware revision required to solve the problem without bricking my inverter.
Any assistance this forum could provide would be greatly appreciated.
