Inverter sizing help

I'm looking at getting a grundfos sq 115v well Pump.
I'd like to use a victron Phoenix 12/1200 LF inverter if possible but looks like the pump might need more power then 1200w as it calls 12A . other wise I'd go with a 2-3kw HF inverter .

12 amps at 120v is over 1400 watts.

Id be looking for a 2k inverter at least. Look at the victron multiplus line.

Yeah I figured as much , some of the data was conflicting but it was going to be flying too close to the sun .

Unless this pump has a magical soft start feature I am not even sure 2000 watts is enough. Need plenty of battery and good connection to get full surge performance.

Yes Grundfos have built in soft start controls, they are great for inverter applications
