hi all,

I mounted together last step of my photovoltaic systems and batery with BMS.
I am using 16 pieces of cells 3.2 V in total mountet 48V system.
And connected to invertor, and started charging, but after has been stopped.
On inverter showing me that battery is noc connected.
On 1 photo showing inverter very nice how batery is connected but after inverter is automatically restarted and goes batery to offline.,
and there is no Voltage between BMS and inverter.
I restarted BMS couple of times, but same problem.

Any Idea how to solve it ?

Jaroslav

I'm almost positive you shouldn't have cut your balance cable but rather crimped them together.
Do you have a wiring diagram for your specific model?

this is the way how it is came from china, it was already cutted off.
here we go wiring diagram, and there is putted this cables togeter, and not cutted of

hi,

I thing this is ok, that wires are cutted off, because I talked already 1 month ago with china girl from Alibaba about this,
and this is photo of my BMS, and as you see all this wires are melted together, thats why cables are cutted off.

I'm honestly not sure, I've never seen a JBD with the wires cut.
Hopefully someone else can chime in and help.

what I did now, I puted away my BMS, just to make sure where is the problem,
and now directly charging batery without problem, as you can see.
I am checking every 15 minutes every cell, and to charge it maximum to 3.4V per cell,
I putted more load in the house, and also discharging works well, I thing BMS will be broken.

STOP
Do not run without a BMS please.
Your BMS may be broken if it was hooked up incorrectly. Like I said I think your balance cables shouldn't have been cut.
What in the heck is going on here?

this is how I putted away BMS and just and temporarily I putted this cables together what you have marked red.
which is really funny, I putted BMS back, and started, and it works,
I will se how long it will work,

I have another question, Do I need to change something as nominal capacity, or cycle capacity or full charge capacity ?
or maybe to click on AutoBalance, or reset capacity ?

after 20-30 running well, invertor has been restarted and batery is not connected again,
so I am going to buy new BMS as on the picture,

aha, is it possible that inverter switched off batery because of not enough voltage ?
there should be bulk voltage 56-58.4V but on the output from inverter I messured only 20V
I will see tommorow after it will be started in the morning if the batery will be connected.

Are you using communications?
Maybe.

I would not set bulk higher than 56V in a 16S configuration.

which communications??? There is nothing between inverter and BMS, no communications,
I do not understand what type of communication do you mean

I was asking if you are using communications between inverter and BMS. I don't use them either.
and yes, can be charged between 56V - 58.4V as you see on pics.

Yes they can but it isn't necessary to charge all the way to 58.4V and could do more harm than good. 56V is safe. (in a 16S configuration).

well, maybe you are right, I am not so deep in this case, and no so many knowledge. I just putted on my roof 12 pieces of panels, and also I puted it together with inverter. it works nice until now, also bypass to redirect the line to my elekticity provider. but only very important part is missing and its batery with BMS, because until now I am using maybe 10-15 % energy from my panels, they are producing only energie what is needed for house which is 200-300 Watts per hour, but panels could create much much more energy, but no space where to store it.
My new Daly BMS should arrive at 05. april and then I try to put it this again together.
