LEDs can generate power too

I didn't know where to put this, but LEDs can generate power, like a solar cell. A red LED can generate 1vdc.

The photoelectric effect. Raspberry Pi 2 owners might be familiar with the power management chip going off the rails if exposed to bright UV flashes because its a bare flip chip, the photoelectric effect in action.

This is because... solar panels ARE led’s...

they just put out uv light... and diodes are in place to prevent reverse current flow...
