New construction line set placement

What do you all think about running mini split linesets inside the walls for new construction?
I am about to do insulation and sheetrock and I am kicking around the idea of putting the linesets inside the wall.
I could put them on the outside of the wall later but then I will have the trim piece showing
Pros and cons?

Licensed HVAC. We never run on the outside of a wall if the wall is accessible. Always inside and protected.

Is it common for the lines to be on one side or the other of the inside unit?
What is common for doing a rough in of line sets? Any special bracket?
I don't want sheetrock guys screwing up the linesets.
Do the lines need to go straight down or can they go over and then down?
For example can the unit be above a window and go sideways around a header and then straight down?
