Renogy remote switch wiring diagram?

Got a 2kw pure sine unit with a similar looking remote but with 8 pin RJ45, switch seems to be black and green, orange is ground for the leds, blue is alert, red is power. (just toying with the multimeter)

Hey all, thanks for this post that got me started on hacking my own remote cable for the renogy 3kw inverter.

Just wanted to point out that the cable being discussed is actually an RJ12 cable (NOT RJ11). That is, the connectors are called thus. Both of these cables have the same connector, but RJ12 has all 6 wires wired, and is thus called 6P6C, whereas the RJ11 only has 4 wires and is called 6P4C.
