My bms wire is 24awg and i need m6 ring terminals. The only thing I can find is m6 to 16-22awg. Will that be small enough to get a good crimp?

Could you crimp a straight ferrule onto the wire and then crimp the ring terminals over that?

those wires are very tiny, usually they dont grip firm when you only crimp. i usually make the copper strands protrude a little and then solder after crimping to give me a tight connection

I have a very expensive AMP crimping tool and the correct ring terminals made for 24awg wire. If I didn’t, I’d use the consumer grade terminals and solder them. In this application, both will give you good results.

This is from my ready made cell monitor, crimp ignored and solder used instead.
