So @HarryN asked me to post a bit about my Rolls AGM experience.

I have purchased 3 sets of;

Rolls AGMs “S6-275AGM-RE

For a couple of Van builds & also my Off Grid Cabin.

I have had great success with these 6v AGMs as a 2 battery bank in series to make up 12vdc @ 250Ah.

The systems I use them on are very basic & simple & very conservative in energy use & design.

For my Promaster Van, I charge them by DC2DC alternator & I use a Kisae 1250.

For my Off Grid Cabin, I charge them by 600W solar array & Victron 100 | 50.

Why not LFP 🤷‍♂️? Well at the time I purchased these AGMs I had a saying for LFP & that is they are great except for the 3Cs;

Note; On the actual battery label max charge current is spec’s @ 87.5 amps ,,, where as Rolls’ performance specs state 75 amps. I have not researched this discrepancy. I cap my charging at 50 amps (as recommended).
