Seplos bms 14s-15s-16s

4S = 4 cells in series for 12V
8S = 8 cells in series for 24V
16S = 16 cells in series for 48V
This relates to the LFP Chemistry.
Thanks for that, it is confusing because I can see a "48V 15S LiFePo4 200A" and I cannot understand how 15 cells would make 48v. Also 14s at 48v so, are there battery cells other than the classic 3.2 v around ?

15 LifePO4 cells in series would be 48 to 50.5V when fully charged and rested.

Dont forget there are Li-ion cells that have higher voltages when fully charged.

16S recommended for LiFePO4 applications though, otherwise your 48V inverter will stop before the battery is empty
