Can I ask what cable you used to connect to the Seplos Unit? The one Fogstar supplied is not compatable with the V3.0 BMSHi all I'm new to all this 1st problem I come to is that I cant fully connect to my seplos mason battery
I can connect using CAN and cab display battery voltages etc
but I can't upload parameters or change CAN protocol just comes up with "TIME OUT"

I used the seplos cable but I have v2 not V3 bmsCan I ask what cable you used to connect to the Seplos Unit? The one Fogstar supplied is not compatable with the V3.0 BMS
I too fell foul of this problem with the v3 BMS - and with no user manuals supplied took FAR longer than it should have to build the Seplos 280L battery with 16x Envision Grade B 305Ah batteries. Can I ask what cable you used to connect to the Seplos Unit? Why the CH343G converter? Are the other chip sets like FT232RL and SP485EEN incompatible?I too fell foul of this problem with the v3 BMS - and with no user manuals supplied took FAR longer than it should have to build the Seplos 280L battery with 16x Envision Grade B 305Ah batteries.
After (a lot) of googling last couple of days, I took a punt and ordered a Waveshare Industrial USB to RS485 Converter Adapter with original CH343G and LEDs to show TXD and RXD back from the BMS.
I then made my own RJ45 Cat5 cable with the 3 wire RS485 connections at the adapter end. Got this working late couple of nights ago - and with a load more googling eventually found the password for BMS software too (000000) so I can set some parameters!
Let me know if you need any further info that may help!
